Support SourceBans++
SourceBans++ is free, open source, and built on volunteer time. The panel and the SourceMod plugins are maintained by a small group of contributors led by rumblefrog, with patches from community admins running the project on their own servers and networks.
Sponsorships fund the work that keeps the panel healthy across SourceMod versions, MariaDB and PHP releases, and the long tail of Source-engine games people still run today. They also pay for the infrastructure that supports development — the docs site, test servers used for cross-version compatibility runs, and the time it takes to land the modernization work that’s been shipping across the v2.x line.

Where the money goes
Section titled “Where the money goes”- Maintainer time — code review, release cuts, security
triage, and the back-and-forth on
#help-supportin Discord. The more sustainable this is, the faster fixes land. - Infrastructure — the docs site, the screenshot capture stack, and the test fleet used to verify panel + plugin builds against SourceMod 1.10 / 1.11 / 1.12 and the MariaDB / MySQL versions in the wild.
- Modernization — finishing the rolling cleanup that’s been landing across the v2.x line (legacy PHP and JS removal, schema hygiene, accessibility, container-friendly deployment).
Other ways to help
Section titled “Other ways to help”Money is one way; there are others. The project always welcomes:
- Bug reports with reproduction details on GitHub Issues.
- Pull requests — see
CONTRIBUTING.mdfor the guide. PRs that touch the web panel ride a Contributor License Agreement; the CLA bot leaves one-line sign instructions on your first such PR. - Translation help — see Translating for the per-locale workflow.
- Answering questions in
#help-supporton the Discord. Triage shoulder-to-shoulder with the maintainers is some of the most valuable contribution there is.
